How to See Your Vyneron Tasks in Google, Apple & Outlook Calendar

Vyneron Team·

A lot of people want their tasks to show up next to their meetings — without leaving their calendar app open all day. Vyneron now does exactly that with a one-way iCal calendar feed: subscribe once, and your dated tasks and routines appear in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook automatically.

This is a read-only feed — your calendar shows your Vyneron tasks, but you still manage them in Vyneron (or Telegram). Here's how to set it up and what to expect.

TL;DR: In Vyneron, go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar feed, generate your private link, and paste it into your calendar app as a subscribed (not imported) calendar. Your dated tasks and routines — holiday-adjusted — show up automatically. Available on trial and paid plans.

What the calendar feed does (and doesn't do)

It does:

  • Show your dated tasks and recurring routines as calendar events.
  • Stay holiday-aware — because Vyneron computes routines around public holidays in 250+ countries, the events you see already skip holidays. A "every Monday 9 AM" routine won't show up on a public holiday.
  • Update on its own — calendar apps refresh subscribed feeds periodically, so new tasks appear without re-exporting.

It doesn't (by design):

  • It's one-way. Editing an event in Google/Apple/Outlook won't change anything in Vyneron — manage tasks in Vyneron or Telegram. (Two-way Google Calendar sync is a separate, larger feature.)
  • It doesn't expose undated tasks or notes — only things with a date/time belong on a calendar.

How to set it up (about 60 seconds)

1. Generate your feed link in Vyneron

Open Settings → Integrations → Calendar feed and generate your link. You'll get a private URL that looks like https://api.vyneron.com/ical/<your-token>.ics. The token is the authentication — treat the link like a password and don't share it publicly.

2. Subscribe in your calendar app

You want "Subscribe to calendar" (a live feed), not "Import" (a one-time copy). The difference matters: a subscription keeps updating; an import is a frozen snapshot.

  • Google Calendar: On desktop, go to Other calendars → + → From URL, paste the link, and add it. (Google refreshes external feeds on its own schedule — usually several times a day, not instantly.)
  • Apple Calendar (iPhone/iPad): Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, then paste the link. On Mac: File → New Calendar Subscription.
  • Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web, paste the link, and name it.

3. Done

Your Vyneron tasks and routines now appear alongside your meetings. New dated tasks show up automatically the next time your calendar refreshes the feed.

A note on refresh timing

Subscribed calendar feeds don't update in real time — Google, Apple, and Outlook each poll external feeds on their own schedule (often a few times a day). That's a limitation of how calendar subscriptions work everywhere, not Vyneron-specific. If you need something to appear instantly, check it in Vyneron or Telegram, where it's live.

Why this pairs well with holiday-aware routines

The reason this feed is genuinely useful — and not just another export — is what's behind it. Vyneron's recurring tasks are computed against a built-in public-holiday database for 250+ countries, so the events that land in your calendar already respect real-world holidays. You're not looking at a naive "every Monday" series that drops a task on a national holiday; you're seeing the holiday-adjusted schedule. (More on how that works: Smart Calendar: Recurring Tasks That Respect Holidays in 250+ Countries.)

Want to try it? Set up Vyneron free, add a couple of dated tasks or a routine, and subscribe to your feed from Settings → Integrations. Prefer to capture on the go? You can create those tasks straight from Telegram and watch them appear in your calendar.
