The switch wasn't a single jump, which explains the confusion online. When we checked the page in early August 2026, US$49.99 was already the list price, but Premium was still sold at US$35.99 as a limited-time 28% discount. By 5 September 2026 that offer was gone and US$49.99 was the price at checkout. So some reviews quote US$35.99 as a "discount" and others as "the price"; either way, a page that shows US$35.99 instead of US$49.99 today is out of date.
